About Me!
Hello! My name is John Laux and I'm an illustrator! In May of 2020 I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in illustration.
I think the act of exploration is something that everyone desires deep inside, but I grew up in a pretty suburban environment, so all of my exploring was usually done virtually through video games or TV shows. Some people might think that's lame, but personally I thought it was pretty cool. Now all I want to do is give people a way to do some exploring of their own by creating art that becomes a part of a bigger world. Whether that world is in a video game, animation, book, or some other medium, I'm always open to new ideas!
Outside of illustration my interests include music, movies, video games, and spending time with my friends.
